Petal to the Metal Collection
To be quite frank, I can't even express how much I'm love with the Marc by Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal collection. When it first launched, I wanted nearly every handbag in the group, even though I knew it would be overkill. Sort of. It's just that the darn metal bird accent is so darn charming it kills me!
But by far, my favorite bag has to be the the Benny satchel you see to the left. Yes, I'm biased toward satchels, but that doesn't discount this particular piece by any means. I mean, look at it! The buttery soft leather in the muted grey "newsprint" tone, the rectangular u
nstructured form, outside front pocket with strap detail, and side pockets with buckle cinch details. And that's just the outside. Peek inside and you'll find the signature Marc Jacobs pop of color-splashed lining.
And all of the pieces in the Petal to the Metal line carry the charm and subtle funky nature of the Benny satchel. I would love to get all the handbags in the collection but then I wouldn't be able to pay for things like food and utilities.
