Puckered Mouse Collection
One of the recent handbag collections to appear from Marc by Marc Jacobs is the Puckered Mouse collection. The first thing you'll notice is the embossed leather, showcasing the lettering in "Marc Jacobs." If you follow Marc Jacobs, you'll know that stamping, printing, embossing, or embroidering his letters into his fabrics is no new surprise. However, the subtle yet playful embossing turns the usual markings into something new and sweet.
The pieces I've seen so far have a casual, slouchy feel, but in a grown-up, fashion-forward way. To be honest, I haven't meet a MBMJ handbag that I didn't like. So maybe I'm biased! But come on, can you disagree that the Puckered Mouse line is anything less that fabulous?
This large flap bag is a great spring/summer bag, equipped with enough room to carry all your daytime essentials like your water bottle, book, and organizer. I also adore the Birdie bag which features an open rouched top, double handles, and two small side pockets. Hot!
